I'm so excited--I just found out that readergirlz is one of the recipients of the National Book Foundation's 2009 Innovations in Reading prize! What is this, you ask? From the website: Each year, the National Book Foundation awards a number of prizes of up to $2,500 each to individuals and institutions--or partnerships between the two--that have developed innovative means of creating and sustaining a lifelong love of reading.I'm so proud of readergirlz, and so glad I can be a part of it. YAY.
